KVR Training Learnerships — What’s On Offer in 2025‑2026

If you’re looking for a learnership that doesn’t feel like a “one‑size‑fits‑all” course, KVR Training might be worth your attention. They offer many different learnership and training options, ranging from IT to logistics, retail and administration — which gives a fair shot to different kinds of learners.

Having variety matters a lot — and with KVR you don’t have to force yourself into just one field. Whether you’re unemployed, or you’ve been out of school and want a SETA Accredited Qualification , there’s likely something there for you.

KVR offers a broad mix of qualifications and courses registered with QCTO/SETA, as well as short‑courses and training programmes for people who want to skill up fast.

How KVR Training Works — What to Expect

What I like about KVR is that they offer both fully registered learnerships and skills programmes/short courses. This means you can pick something that fits your situation — if you need a formal certificate, or if you just want to learn a specific skill quickly.

They also run a separate platform — KVR Learner Recruitment Online — where potential learners can register, upload documents (ID, matric results, CV, etc.), and choose which course or qualification they’re interested in.

The platform screens applicants, which helps match you to the right course or learnership.

How to Apply for Learnerships & Certification Courses

Before you jump in, there are a few things to check — from my experience it helps to be aware of them.

You’ll need to prepare your documents carefully: your ID, your matric certificate or last school report, proof of bank account (for stipends if provided), and sometimes proof of tax registration or other admin details.

Also, note that some courses expect a certain starting level — like NQF 2, 3 or higher. So check that you meet those minimum requirements before you apply.
